#PROJECT X ZONE OST FULL#
While in PxZ 1/2, you meet everyone (allies and enemies) in the game by stage 20 or 25, and have your full team too by that point.īut again, in both games, the combat repetitive due to how many stages there are, but it stays fresher longer in the NxC, while in PxZ I was already board of some characters by the 7th stage. In NxC, the game will keep introducing new characters and villains no matter how far you are into the game, it could be stage 35 and you'll still have new party members joining you or meeting new characters. Just the intro alone is such a pleasure to listen to. I like the music in PxZ, but man is the NxC OST such a blast. Unlike in PxZ where you need to make sure you hit each directional move at least once to get the bonus attack, and where the only freedom you get is just when to start the attack so you can hit the enemy just before they hit the floor, in order to get crits on all hits. So you can mix and match different combos as you like or even just spam the same move if it's good enough. That's because in NxC, you get different moves on each direction (instead of a whole combo for each direction button like in PxZ). The combos you can create and experiment with in NxC are way more fun than in PxZ. Then there is also the villains, which again, NxC villains are way more interesting and memorable, but I already talked enough about this part. Not to mention they throw so many characters at you so fast, without giving them a proper background or time to develop really. In PxZ though, you can feel that the story is just there as "reason" to why you're in this stage fighting these characters and that it. So it's really cool to see the super move that felt so lame at the start, evolve into a better version later on.

Hell that's why a lot of characters moveset and special moves are gained from the story and not from levels.

With a lot of stages where you control just a few characters that the story is about in that part of the story. Because each character and world gets their own introduction and a lot of development as the story goes own. The story is the main focus of the game, and it's way more interesting than in PxZ. Also characters that start on their own, gain their partner later on as part of the story. While in NxC, not only do they unlock the other moves, but even the old moves evolve and change. The only things that changes about each duo is that they start with 3 moves, and unlock the other 3 as they level up. in PxZ 1/2 each duo are set from start to finish, and so are their moveset. Your characters moveset and who they team-up with levels up and evolves as the story goes on.

Frankly they are all kind of the same, since the main goal is fan-service, so it comes down to which one has your favorite characters.īut if I had to choose, I'd go with NxC, for the following reasons:
